I decided to try my own recreation using crochet. Turns out, one of the biggest challenges was finding a famous painting that looked easy enough to duplicate in yarn but still appealed to me visually. I wanted something colorful to cheer me up on these dreary days. Settling on one of Van Gogh's sunflower paintings, I rummaged through my yarn stash to find the appropriate colors.
This pattern was just for fun and has not been tested, so feedback would be greatly appreciated.
