I was recently challenged to design a rainbow amigurumi for Pride Month. Until I started googling, I had no idea there were so many amigurumi animals done in a rainbow theme. The frill on the neck of a triceratops is a perfect place to put a rainbow, and the beautiful colors make this cute little guy more of a baby rather than a fierce predator. What do you think? Thirty years ago I was living in Queens, New York and pregnant with my son. A Ukranian lady in our neighborhood gave me a beautifully painted wooden spoon as a baby gift. She explained that hanging it over the crib would bring good luck to the child.   It was such a beautiful gesture from a woman I barely knew. That was my introduction to the beauty and generosity of the Ukranian people.
