Pink Ribbon Chemo Hat Crochet Kit

Make your own pink ribbon chemo hat to show your support for cancer patients. The pattern works up quickly in worsted yarn. Instructions include chart for ribbon motif. On paper, the ribbon looks crooked, but because of the way crochet stitches aren’t perfectly aligned, it works up perfectly.

I didn’t want to work with 15 pink bobbins, so I carried the pink yarn through all the stitches. This resulted in a slight shadow effect. It definitely wasn’t intentional on my part, but I like the way it looks.

Materials included:

• 2 oz Main Color worsted 
• 1/2 pink worsted
• Size G crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Printed crochet pattern
